How our partnership began
Koble was established in January 2023 when Credo and four electrical installation companies joined forces. Its ambition is to become a leading multi-local electrical installation group in Denmark by growing through acquisitions of well-run installation companies and professionalizing a fragmented industry, all in cooperation with skilled owners and employees. Credo will draw on relevant experience from buy-and-build platforms and former investments in Denmark.
Recent results
Koble’s first year in 2023 laid the groundwork for sustainable growth, with a focus on M&A and building a group function. The company completed several acquisitions, established a headquarter in Roskilde, and launched a new brand identity, pushing run-rate revenue to DKK 326 million. As the year progressed, Koble emphasized building its group functions, appointing a CEO and recruiting a new permanent CFO to join in 2024. Despite a slowdown in installation company activities from the highs of 2021 and 2022, Koble’s strategic focus on service projects over construction and new builds has positioned it well for long-term growth. Maintaining a 10% EBITDA margin with such rapid growth and change agenda is a job well done.
How we see the future
M&A will continue to be the key focus area. Several M&A dialogues have been initiated and the main objective will be to ensure continued activity in the M&A pipeline. Several strategic initiatives will also be initiated during the year, including the establishment of a competence development program and leadership training.
