In this edition of our "Meet the Team" series, we are thrilled to introduce Ai Thu Bui, our devoted Office Assistant at Credo. Ai Thu lets us in about her work and her passions outside of the office. Join us as we learn more about Ai Thu and her vital role at Credo.
Can you describe what you do here at Credo?
My job is to ensure that everything is in its place and running smoothly. I am in charge of the lunch, breaks, and events for the Credo team. This includes organizing events like Investor Day, summer parties, and our Christmas dinner, which we call the Unicorn Dinner. I also manage meeting rooms, handle invoices, and generally support the team wherever needed. Essentially, I make sure everything works right around the office.
What does a typical day look like for you?
There's no "typical" day for me as it depends on the meetings and events scheduled. I manage meeting rooms and ensure everything is ready for guests. My tasks range from ordering lunches and approving invoices to checking that everything in the office is in order. I respond to various needs from the team, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
What motivates you about your work?
Since I started in 2022, I’ve learned so much every day. The environment here at Credo is the best I’ve experienced. It’s motivating because everyone is supportive and open-minded. If I don't understand something, I can always ask for help, which creates a great learning environment.
Where would we find you when you are not at work?
When I'm not at work, I enjoy staying home, relaxing, and doing some light exercises. I love walking around my area because of the beautiful views. I’m not an athlete, but I enjoy slow-paced activities. Sometimes I hang out with my family and kids. I also love to travel, especially to warm places, though it's quite expensive these days.
What is something people might be surprised to learn about you?
People might be surprised to know that I don’t have a specific hobby. I enjoy relaxing, watching YouTube or TikTok, and just unwinding—that’s my hobby. Despite being social at work, I’m actually an introvert. I need my own space to recharge. However, since joining Credo, I’ve been going out more with the team, which has made me more social.
